The 320 slides of this PowerPoint
presentation can be used to teach a course on behavioral
contingency analysis, and are freely available for this purpose.
The content of the course corresponds generally to that of the paper
"Behavioral Contingency Analysis" which is also available here as a
download.
The slides are presented in a programmed sequence that
introduces and applies the concepts in a cumulative progression.
Most of the content slides are followed by exercise slides that focus
the learners' attention and challenge them to check their understanding
of key points. The course can also be used by individual learners
in a self-instructional mode, without the guidance of an instructor.
Students should expect to spend in the range of ten to
thirty hours on the course, depending on how much time they spend on
each slide and exercise. Upon completion of this course,
including the exercises, the learner will have significant facility in
the use of the language for codifying behavioral contingencies,
including complex ones that involve multiple parties, and in the
application of this language to various types of practical situations.
